Amazon has recently launched a companion site, AmazonSmile, at www.smile.amazon.com  This site works in the same way as Amazon with one major difference; it allows shoppers to simply click on their choice of favorite charitable organizations.  

Amazon will then donate a portion of the purchase price to that non-profit.  It is as simple as that!  Shoppers are able to use their same Amazon.com accounts on AmazonSmile; your shopping cart, wish list and other current account settings will be the same.

When you sign in to AmazonSmile (using your same Amazon.com sign-in information) please select your “favorite charity” in the search bar.  Utilizing our incorporated name, Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center of Downey, your supported charity will be registered to your account.  Once you have selected our agency, it will be set and you can start shopping!  Please help the Center to reach our families and take part in our mission with little effort yet big rewards.

An estate gift to our Center can be an ideal way of leaving a positive legacy which will have impact for years to come.  You do not have to be a millionaire to change a child’s life through a charitable contribution.  While you may not be able to donate large amounts during your lifetime, please think about designating a specific gift amount  to the Exchange Club Center in your will or naming the Center as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy or pension plan.

Celebrate and commemorate the life of an individual with a special gift to the Exchange Club Family Support Center.  A memorial gift is a meaningful way to honor an individual’s legacy.  When you make a donation an acknowledgement is sent to you as well as to the person or family of the person being honored.

Third party fundraising is that done by an individual(s), community group, service club or business group who are interested in raising money to benefit Exchange Club Family Support Center.  Approval of the proposed activity as well as review of event-related material must be obtained from the Exchange Club Center prior to execution of the event.  Fundraising activity ideas include:

- Hosting restaurant charity night
- Bake sales
- Employee “casual days”
- Raffles
- Car wash
- Corporate challenges
