Exchange Club Family Support Center staff members are available to groups for workshops to address agency services, child abuse identification and reporting, and practical parenting tips or other appropriate topics, which would be of most value.

Groups can include those from schools, civic organizations, businesses and places of worship.

In-Service Training
Child Abuse Dynamics and Reporting

Exchange Club Family Support Center staff can be available to conduct Mandated Reporter Training for any group employing/utilizing mandated reports of child abuse.  The purpose would be to provide specific education on characteristics of abusive families, child abuse types, dynamics, as well as Los Angeles County Child Abuse Reporting procedures.  

These groups could include, but not be limited to, school personnel, local medical community personnel, child care facility staff among other groups.  This in-service training can be from one hour to three hours in length depending upon time availability and needs of the requesting group.  Please contact the Center for additional information.
