Parenting Classes

This will help you develop nurturing prenatal parenting practices by teaching ways you can help your baby by taking care of yourself.

Loving Solutions

This parenting class is designed specifically to provide tools to help parents of young children, especially those posing challenges, regain control and build confidence.

A nationally recognized parent-training program designed specifically for parents of strong willed or out of control adolescent children.

Programs

In Home Parent Aide.

Exchange Club Family Support Center’s primary service is the Parent Aide Program.  Families referred for Parent Aide services have either experienced a problem with child abuse or are seen as being at high risk for abuse to occur.

Referrals for Parent Aide services may be received by a number of different sources and include Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, private therapists, school personnel and local hospitals and clinics.

Information & Referrals

Exchange Club Family Support Center maintains an up-to-date resource listing that addresses a variety of areas of concern.  These resources will be made available to the community for referral to appropriate agencies, as needed.

The Exchange Club Family Support Center will accept calls from the community at large in meeting the needs of various individuals.  The resource listing will also assist the Exchange Club Family Support Center staff in making appropriate referrals in addressing the needs of client families.

Program Options

Community Outreach

Exchange Club Family Support Center staff members are available to groups for workshops to address agency services, child abuse identification and reporting, and practical parenting tips or other appropriate topics, which would be of most value. Groups can include those from schools, civic organizations, businesses and places of worship.
